Classes are held in North Liberty, Iowa at the North Liberty Community Center.

Iowa Driver Education Requirements

 The State of Iowa requires anyone under the age of 18 wishing to drive a personal vehicle to take and successfully complete a state approved driver education course.  A minimum of 6 hours of on the road driving instruction and 30 hours of classroom instruction is required of all students.  The instruction or learnerís permit may be acquired at the age of 14 after passing a written exam at any Iowa Department of Motor Vehicles office.

 Students over 18 may enroll in a driver education class and are also required to have an instruction permit for on the road instruction.

 Students interested in the privilege of a school license, must have their instruction permit for at least six months, without any moving violations, and successfully complete a state approved driver education course.  Written approval is required from parents/guardian and their school district.
